Every year, I put out a list of x number of things I want to achieve / complete before my next birthday.
This last year, I travelled to Australia to see the love of my life, I made a ridiculous dessert that took far too long,
I got a great job, I tried new things, I skipped out on list items (again), but ultimately, it's a testament that getting old doesn't have to be boring.
26 things to do before turning 26
VISIT AUSTRALIA
July 6 - july 25. I am SO in love. It’s ridiculous. A green, hilly, beautiful love

But this is going to a festival, so that’s nice
I got a big girl job at techstyle, and sort of ad’d a few smaller productions. I guess my goal was different than what i inteded it to be. But i have health insurance! Which was the kicker before turning 26.

1/20/20 Went to Mexico! Stayed in ensenada, went swimming and had so many fish tacos. Emma was my partner in crime, Billy and Eddie translated and navigated. Absolutely in love

Aug 31. Girl. wow. This took FOREVER. Six hours. Learned a lot in the process. The puffs were not hard to produce, i piped for the first time, and made a BOMB vanilla and chocolate filling with actual vanilla beans! Tasted great, would work marvelously as the filling for a creme brûlée, maybe that’ll be next? Assembly was muy difficile, and i need to work on my caramel (hard as a rock) but overall pretty happy with how it turned out.

Mar 14. Better Oblivion Communicty Center teregram ballroom. Other than the weird deja vu of realizing the last time I came here was on the first date with Marcos, the show was great. They sang lua and Scott street together, easy lucky free. I might prefer concerts on my own, but it was good hanging with the sad bois.
May 8. Lady Lamb with alex schaaf and someone else. The Lodgeroom, highland park with lisee. Woweeee she’s so talented! She came out to the audience and her arms are so strong
May 10. Camp cope and an horse at the bootleg theatre, los angeles, with sara rose. Holy fuck. I’ve sang my heart out to every song and felt some release and idk they’re just so cooool
Aug 9. Better oblivion community center, the wiltern. Again, concerts are better on my own. Weird with sara not being there. Same concert as before, but i definitely felt out of place
Oct. 17. John Cregan, old town pub, pasadena
Oct 21. half•alive - Fonda theatre. So cool. Great experience and absolutely entertaining with choreography and light
Nov 6. The drums, soho restaurant and music, santa barbara. Crazy mosh pit, not that great
Dec 8. Emily laliliotis - rosebud coffee. Sara’s friend. A literal angel who needs to be on the map
